Wojciechowski “Wojo” came to Orangetheory Fitness from Jacksonville University where he worked as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. His time there was spent designing and implementing speed, agility, flexibility, strength training and conditioning programs for Baseball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, and Men’s Rowing. He also continued training professional athletes in their off-season. Prior to Jacksonville University, he was at Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where he worked as the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Broken Arrow High School for 2 years. His time there was spent designing and implementing speed, agility, flexibility, strength training and conditioning programs for all the sports teams there.
Prior to Broken Arrow, had two stops, first at University of Central Oklahoma as Director of Strength & Conditioning from 2009-2011. In 2011 The University of Central Oklahoma Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams both advanced to the Division II NCAA Sweet 16. Also, Encouraged and motivated athletes and coached seven All-American Athletes and one Player of Year in three sports: Wrestling (3), Football (2), Men’s Basketball (1) and NCAA Division II Men’s Player of Year by Basketball Times, and Women’s Soccer(1).
Second stop was at Ohio University as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach from 2008-2009. Wojo designed and implemented speed, agility, flexibility, strength training and conditioning programs for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball 2008 MAC Champions, Softball, and Club Hockey 2009 CSCHL Champions
A native of Oak Creek, WI where he was a two-sport standout, Wojo walked –on at the University of Minnesota in 2000 and earned a full scholarship a year later. He was a part of 4 bowl games with wins over Alabama, Oregon, and Arkansas.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at The University of Minnesota and his master’s in science education at University of Central Oklahoma. He is certified strength and conditioning specialist certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is certified through USAW.
